Shenzhen LiYu Information Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "we"), as the operator of NiceTalker, fully understands the importance of personal information to you. We will protect your personal information and privacy in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations. We have developed this privacy policy and would like to remind you to carefully read and understand it before using NiceTalker and related services in order to make appropriate choices. This privacy policy will help you understand:


1 We will collect and use your information in accordance with the privacy policy, but we will not collect personal information solely based on your agreement with this privacy policy through mandatory bundling.
2 When you use or enable relevant functions or services, we will collect and use relevant information to achieve the necessary functionalities or services. Unless it is necessary information to achieve basic business functions or required by laws and regulations, you can refuse to provide such information without affecting other functions or services. We will explain in detail in the privacy policy which information is necessary.
3 The microphone and photo album permissions are not enabled by default and will only be used for specific functions or services with your explicit authorization, which you can also revoke. It should be noted that even if we obtain these sensitive permissions with your authorization, we will not collect your information when the relevant function or service does not require it.
4 This privacy policy applies to your access and use of our products and services through the NiceTalker application (including different versions).
5 The following will provide you with detailed information on how we collect, use, store, transmit, share, transfer (if applicable), and protect personal information. It also explains how to inquire about, access, delete, correct, and revoke authorization of personal information. Please pay special attention to the important content regarding your rights to personal information, which is highlighted in bold.


Collection and Use of Personal Information


We collect the information you voluntarily provide when using our services, as well as the information generated during your use of the functions or receipt of services through automated means, in the following manner:


1 Registration and Login


When you register for NiceTalker services, we collect your unique device identification code to identify you as a NiceTalker user. You can use your phone number to log in or register for a NiceTalker account. Alternatively, you can choose to register or log in with a third-party account. If you use a third-party account, such as Apple ID, to log in to NiceTalker, we will collect your Apple ID unique identifier to save your login information and synchronize your data when you log in with different devices. After you register or log in with a third-party account, your third-party account will be linked to your NiceTalker account. When you create a NiceTalker ID, we collect your personal information, including email address, native language, language you are learning, and personal interests, which will help us provide better services and experiences.


2 Microphone-based Voice Technology Functions


To experience oral conversation services, we require the use of a microphone to collect your voice. After you grant permission to access the microphone, you can use it for voice chat. Please be informed that even if you have granted permission to access the microphone, we will only collect voice information when you actively click on the microphone icon on the client. If you do not use the above functions, you can choose not to grant this permission.


3 Storage Permission-based Functions


When you upload/update your account avatar, we need to access your device storage/photo album permission to facilitate the publication of pictures and text information. If you refuse to grant the above permission, we will be unable to provide you with the corresponding functions, but it will not affect your use of other functions on the platform.


4 Provision of Network Security and Operational Security to You


We are committed to providing you with secure and trustworthy products and an environment for their use. Delivering high-quality and reliable services is our core objective. The information collected for the purpose of achieving security measures is necessary:
4.1 Device Information and Log Information
In order to ensure the secure operation of software and services, we collect information on your hardware model, operating system version number, International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI), unique device identifier (UDID), network device hardware address, IP address, WLAN access points, Bluetooth, base stations, software version number, network connection type, status, network quality data, operations, usage, and service logs.
To prevent malicious programs and ensure operational security, we collect information on installed applications or running processes, overall operation and usage of applications, application crash information, overall installation and usage information, performance data, and application source.
We may use your account information, device information, service log information, and the information obtained from our affiliates and partners with your authorization or as permitted by law to determine account security, conduct identity verification, and detect and prevent security incidents.
4.2 Changes in the Collection and Use of Personal Information Objectives
Please be informed that as our business grows, there may be adjustments and changes to the functions and services provided by NiceTalker. In principle, when new functions or services are directly related to the functions or services we currently provide, the collection and use of personal information will have a direct or reasonable correlation with the original processing objectives. In scenarios where there is no direct or reasonable correlation with the original processing objectives, we will inform you once again and obtain your consent before collecting and using your personal information.
4.3 Personal Information Exempt from Consent Collection and Use Under the Law

Please be reminded that if the information cannot identify your personal identity individually or in combination with other information, it does not fall under the legal definition of your personal information. However, when your information can identify your personal identity individually or in combination with other information, or when data that cannot be linked to any specific personal information is combined with other personal information during the period of combined usage, these pieces of information will be treated and protected as your personal information according to this privacy policy.

When you use NiceTalker and related services, we may use these technologies to send one or more cookies or anonymous identifiers to your device, in order to collect and store information about your visits and usage of this product. 1 Safeguard the security and efficient operation of the product and services


We may set authentication and security-related cookies or anonymous identifiers to confirm if you have securely logged into the service or to detect and prevent theft, fraud, or other illegal activities. These technologies also help us improve service efficiency and enhance login and response speed.


2 Help you have a more convenient browsing experience


Using these technologies can help you skip repetitive steps and processes of filling in personal information and inputting search content (e.g. recording searches and form filling).

We do not share your personal information with any companies, organizations, or individuals other than NiceTalker service providers, unless under the following circumstances:
Principle of Authorization and Consent:
Any sharing of your personal information with third parties requires your authorization and consent unless the shared information has been anonymized and cannot be reidentified by the third party. If the third party intends to use the information for purposes beyond the original authorized consent, they must seek your consent again.
Principle of Legal Obligation:
We may share your personal information with external parties based on legal and regulatory requirements, as well as for litigation and dispute resolution or requests made by administrative or judicial authorities in accordance with the law.
Principle of Security and Prudence:
Shared information limited to authorized partners is solely for the purpose of fulfilling the objectives stated in this privacy policy. We may entrust authorized partners to provide certain services or act on our behalf, strictly in accordance with the legitimate, reasonable, necessary, specific, and explicit purposes stated in this privacy policy. These authorized partners are only permitted to access the information necessary for carrying out their duties and are prohibited from using this information for any other purposes or in any other way.
As of now, our authorized partners fall into the following categories:
Authorized partners for analytical services. We do not share your personal identity information with analytical service providers unless we have obtained your permission. 1.3 In order to ensure the implementation of the relevant functions and the secure and stable operation of NiceTalker services, we may access software development kits (SDKs) or similar applications provided by third parties for the purpose of achieving related objectives. We will conduct strict security evaluations on software tools, such as SDKs or similar applications obtained from our partners, in order to protect the security of your personal information. 2 Transfer

We will formulate emergency response plans and immediately activate them in the event of a user information security incident, striving to mitigate the impact and consequences of these security incidents. In the event of a user information security incident (leakage, loss), we will promptly inform you in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations: the basic situation and possible impact of the security incident, the measures we have taken or will take to handle the incident, suggestions for self-protection and risk reduction, and remedial measures for you. We will inform you of the relevant details of the incident through push notifications, emails, letters, text messages, and other means. If it is difficult to notify each user individually, we will use reasonable and effective methods to publish announcements. Once you leave NiceTalker and its related services to browse or use other websites, services, and content resources, we will not have the ability or direct obligation to protect any personal information you submit to software or websites outside of NiceTalker and its related services, regardless of whether you log in, browse, or use such software or websites through links or guidance provided by NiceTalker.


Management of Your Personal Information


We attach great importance to the management of your personal information and make every effort to protect your rights regarding the query, access, modification, deletion, withdrawal of consent, account cancellation, feedback, and privacy settings, to enable you to safeguard your privacy and information security.


1 Changes or revocation of sensitive permission settings


You can close the microphone, modify the consent scope of album permissions, or withdraw your authorization in the operating system of the device itself. Once the authorization is revoked, we will no longer collect information related to these permissions.


2 Changes or revocation of authorized information processing


Certain business functions and services require your information to be completed. Once you withdraw consent or authorization, we will no longer be able to provide you with the corresponding functions and services associated with withdrawing consent or authorization, and we will also stop processing your personal information accordingly. However, your decision to withdraw consent or authorization will not affect the personal information processing that we have previously conducted based on your authorization.


3 Access, deletion, and correction of your personal information


3.1 Access to personal account information
You can query and access your nickname in the "My" section of NiceTalker for editing.
3.2 Access to privacy policy
You can view the entire contents of this privacy policy on the registration/login page or by clicking on "My" followed by "Settings." Please note that NiceTalker and related services described in this privacy policy may vary depending on factors such as the model of your phone, system version, software application version, and mobile client. The final products and services shall be subject to the NiceTalker software and related services you use.
3.3 Complaints and reports
You can make complaints or reports according to the procedures we have published. If you believe that your personal information rights may have been infringed or if you find evidence of infringement of personal information rights (e.g., if you believe that the collection of your personal information violates legal regulations or agreements between both parties), you can contact us by sending an email to support@NiceTalker.tech. We will promptly respond to your complaints and reports after verification.
3.4 Notification of ceasing operations
If we cease operations, we will promptly cease the activities of collecting your personal information. We will notify you individually or through announcements regarding the cessation of operations and will delete or anonymize the personal information we hold.
3.5 Purposes, methods, and scope of collecting and using personal information

Terms of Use for Minors


If you are a minor under 18 years of age, before using NiceTalker and related services, you should read and agree to this privacy policy jointly with your parents or other guardians who will supervise and guide you. We will protect the personal information of minors in accordance with applicable national laws and regulations, and will only collect, use, store, share, transfer, or disclose the personal information of minors when permitted by law, with explicit consent from parents or other guardians, or when necessary to protect the rights of minors. If we discover that we have collected the personal information of a minor without obtaining verifiable consent from a guardian beforehand, we will make efforts to delete the relevant information as soon as possible.
